Square Ornament Finishing Class – Sunday October 26 at 2:30pm (*Prerequisite required)
*Please note: You must have taken Lita's Round Finishing Class as a prerequisite before taking this one. Please only sign up for this class if you have signed up for one of the Round classes on Saturday AM/PM or Sunday AM or if you have taken one of Lita's round classes in the past.
Rita’s Needlepoint and the Hudson Stitch Club have partnered to bring you this exciting class with guest teacher Lita O’Hara, better known on social media as the Nashville Needlepointer!
Learn how to self-finish a square ornament—glue-free!—complete with custom cording. You’ll leave the class with a completely finished ornament and the knowledge to finish countless more on your own!
Please bring a completely stitched square ornament canvas (5 inches or smaller), your choice of backing fabric, scissors, and whatever colors of Perle cotton you would like to use for your cording.
All other materials and tools will be provided.
This class will be held from 2:30pm until 6:30pm, in-person at Rita’s Needlepoint, 303 E 81st Street in New York.
